Today and tonight Arthur and I met with RIRAL writing teachers to reveal and discuss the first draft of the 2010 Writing Curriculum. All went well. No revolts. Many good comments, and thoughtful suggestions about how to integrate the new curriculum into existing practice.

Arthur and I have our work cut out for us, but we are re-energized to do the work, and create a usable curriculum that will support all RIRAL's learners in their efforts to become good writers.
